To Blog or not to Blog?

I think I may need to take a class on blogging. No I'm serious. My biggest problem is keeping it up to date. Does anyone have any suggestions? I mean I just don't know what to blog about to be honest. I guess I could just talk about the crafty things I do all day but I feel so self-conscious. I just really use some advice thank you!

    Why do you want to blog? What do you mean by keeping up to date? Is that the reason you want to blog?

    Well I would like to blog to promote my work to be honest. I am terrible at updating though. I mean I have so much trouble networking.
